Spain!
The Iberian Peninsula, poised between Europe and Africa, is a hauntingly beautiful country that enchants its' visitors more than any other country on earth. Pristine beaches, the jagged coasts, fiery Flamenco,  fiestas and outstanding gastronomy have become the stuff of many legendary writers and provided extraordinary entries in any travelers' diary. 
Yet beyond the the sunny resorts and fantastic spectacles there is another Spain of tranquil fishing villages and majestic castles that co-exist with the new Spain of the avant-garde lifestyle.
For the past 10 years, we have been succesful in offering quality travel to Spain, exclusively Spain! Our tours include fine regional meals, authentic cultural events, beautiful accommodations and active travel for all levels. We pride ourselves in developing the most authentic routes with "map in hand" and providing our guests with destinations that are not so easy to find on their own.
 Along the way we've had some help from our friends at the Tourist Office of Spain who provide additional tools to get our job done and periodically ask how they can help us continue to grow and learn about this magical country. In September of 2001 Spain Adventures was awarded the Spain Specialist desgination after successfuly completing the program which included examinations.
Their efforts include introducing us to the newest and latest hotels from grand luxury to the charming off the beaten path Inns. Nothing is spared when presenting us with the incomparable restaurants of the new Spanish cuisine as well as the traditional gastronomy. We thank the Tourist Office of Spain for their continued support in our quest to bring you the best of Spain.
What we've been up to.....
Our most recent discovery trip took us to Asturias. Spain Adventures has several tours in Green Spain, but as a result of this event we will soon present you with three new tours for the summer of 2008.
So please take a few minutes to journey with us on our most recent adventure with the Tourist Office of Spain and the Sociedad Regional de Turismo to Asturias.
 Asturias is "...a geological explosion towards the sky. Above all, it is a vertical land of imposing mountains, where rivers flowing towards the sea have chiseled deep ravines and beautiful river valleys. And then there is the seacoast, more than three hundred kilometers (190 miles) of irregular coastline offering a succession of about one hundred beaches of fine sand from the Eo to Tinamayor, protected fishing ports and navigable estuaries." The Bolsa de Contratacion was a series of workshops in Spain the allowed many hotels, restaurants and active travel companies to showcase their respective products.
