Hiking Tours... The Cañadas del Teide National Park attacts more than 300,000 visitors a year making it the most visited national park in Spain. This grand mountain can be seen from the nearby islands of Gran Canaria, La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro. From the middle of the park at around 2400 meters above sea level we find the Teide Astronomical Obesrvatory which boasts the best solar telescopes in Europe.
Day 1 CUMBRES DE BOLICO, MACIZO DE TENO
Starting from Lagunas de Erjos , going into the lush and dense laurisilva forest Monte Verde (one of the most ancient forests in the Macaronesian region). From the Bolico peaks we will see one of the most outstanding views of the Teide, La Gomera , and Santiago valley .Approximate duration:4 hours

Day 2 MONTE VERDE, MACIZO DE TENO
Starting from Lagunas de Erjos, going into the lush and dense laurisilva forests Monte Verde (one of the most ancient forests in the Macaronesian region). A great variety of large lauraceous trees, among the largest in the Canary Islands can be seen in this forest. On this beautiful route we find, in the middle of the mountain, natural resources and man-made tunnels used to collect water in this lush place. Afterwards, we will border the peak of Monte Verde to arrive to an old little village from which we can see the Palmar Valley and the municipality of Los Silos. Finally, we will arrive to Los Silos descending bya an impressive route crated in the rocks and perfectly preserved. Approximate duration: 6 hours

Day 3 BARRANCO DEL RUIZ, SAN JUAN DE LA RAMBLA
We descend the Barranco del Ruiz, by a forest path which runs deep inside the beautiful centenary forest with laurisilva, chestnuts and strawberry trees, where we will see an ancient house of a traditional canarian style. Following this path we will see the immense ravine walls, sculpted by the water. This trip will finish in the picturesque coast promenade in Las Aguas, where we will enjoy one of the most beautiful places in the north of Tenerife, where the small traditional Canary style houses overlook the northern sea, in the municipality of San Juan de La Rambla.Approximate duration: 3 hours

Day 4 AFUR - TAGANANA, MACIZO DE ANAGA
Starting the route in Monte de las Mercedes and descend until we reach the charming little village of Caserío de Afur. From here we will follow the route to arrive to the village of Taganana. On this route we observe the different eco-systems and flora depending on the altitude, as well as the human integration with the natural landscape. The panoramic views of the Anaga, mountain range are spectacular.Approximate duration: 5 hours

Day 5 ANTEQUERA, MACIZO DE ANAGA
Today we start in Punta de Anaga, passing through the nice little vlillage of Las Casillas to get to the beautiful and wild beach of Antequera. We return to the fishing village of Igueste. On this route we have the opportunity to observe the different eco-systems and flora depending on the altitude, as well as the human integration with the natural landscape. The panoramic views of the Anaga,mountain range are spectacular. Approximate duration: 4 hours

Day 6 PARQUE NACIONAL DEL TEIDE
This beautiful route begins in the Teide national park. This is one of the most spectacular examples of volcanoes in the world, and the outstanding flora includes a large percentage of endemic species and the fauna provides us with a large number of exclusive species. We will be able to enjoy striking panoramic views of the Teide as well as other volcanoes.

Day 7 is a rest day We cannot think of a more beautiful place than the Parador del Teide right in the middle of this Natural Park to just kick back and relax. There is an indoor pool, delectable cuisine and an incomparable staff whose attention to every detail will make you very happy you had the day off. There are some easy optional routes to discover on your own today!
Day 8 LAS BODEGAS, MACIZO DE ANAGA
We shuttle to the Caserío de las Bodegas descending through beautiful ravines to arrive in the fishing village of Igueste. On this route we will observe the different eco-systems and flora depending on the altitude, as well as the human integration with the natural landscape. The panoramic views of the Anaga mountain range are spectacular.

Day 9 EL BAILADERO, MACIZO DE ANAGA
Start in El Bailadero, descending through a dense forest of indiginous species, (fayalbrezal) to get to Almáciga beach. On this route we will observe the different eco-systems and flora depending on the altitude, as well as the human integration with the natural landscape. Approximate duration: 2 hours

Day 10 CHINAMADA, MACIZO DE ANAGA
The route starts in Monte de las Mercedes, descending to the Little villaje of Chinamada (former guanche set t lement) and takes us to the coast of La Laguna. On this route we will observe the different eco-systems and flora depending on the altitude, as well as the human integration with the natural landscape. The panoramic views of the Anaga, mountain range are spectacular.

Day 11 GUIDED TOUR IN LA LAGUNA A visit to Tenerife is not complete until we visit the historic-artistic section of San Cristóbal de La Laguna. Formerly the capital of Tenerife, it is a historic city founded in the XV century, with a long university and religious tradition.The city was awarded World Heritage status in 1999. During this trip we'll visit some of the oldest and most interesting buildings, and we will have the opportunity to learn about their history, traditions and anecdotes.

Day 12 MASCA The route starts in the lost hamlet of Masca, descending by the ravine of Masca. This ravine is located in one of the oldest volcanic massifs in Tenerife. We will see the impressive canyon walls surpassing 600 meters high, as well as the peculiar flora and fauna. The route will end in the mouth of the ravine, where we can enjoy a refreshing bath in the volcanic black sandy beach. From there a boat will take us to Puerto Santiago. During the crossing we will be able to see the impressive views of the Acantilados de los Gigantes and enjoy a refreshent.

Day 13 CUEVAS NEGRAS
Start ing f rom Lagunas de Erjos going into the lush and dense laurisilva forest Monte Verde (one of the oldest forests in the Macaronesian region). From the little hamlet of Cuevas Negras we will see outstanding views of the village of Los Silos and the northern coast of Tenerife

Day 14 ROQUES DE GARCÍA (EL TEIDE)
The route starts in Llano de Ucanca and we travel towards Roques de Garcíaand the rocky monuments of `The Island´ and ‘The Cathedral´. We finish at the `Parador Nacional´, luxury hotel located in the National Park. The route is very easy and exposes us to a flora and fauna unique in the world.

Day 15 EL TEIDE
Mount Teide, is the highest summit in Spain at a height of 3,718 meters.
This sleeping volcano is situated in the Teide national park, in the center of the island of Tenerife. This national park contains a wide variety of volcanic cones and domes, lava flows, and caves that form a spectacular range of colors and forms.Teide National Park was declared as World Heritage Site in summer 2007.
These routes can be made three different ways:
1. Going up and down in the cable car.
