Itinerary
Day 1  Arrive in Leon where you'll be greeted by our crew and taken for a walking tour of this lively city.  You'll have a guided tour of the stunning Gothic Cathedral and San Isidoro.  The afternoon is yours to explore and this evening you'll join us for tapas and your official welcome.

Day 2 Your adventure begins with a shuttle to Cebreiero where you will make your way up to this beautiful hamlet of Celtic houses "pallozas" and a church which houses the Chalice of a Miracle.
This afternoon we're off to Sarria where you will apply for your credenciales and begin the last miles along the Camino in order to qualify for the Compostella.

Day 3 Today the roads from Sarria take us through lush green forests and primitive farms still worked as they were hundreds of years ago. Tonight we dine with our friend Mario and watch wide eyed as he offers his special "quiemada" a tradition of Galicia which conjures up tales of witches and spirits.

Day 4   Our journey today is marked by cruceiros and many historical remnants.  Tonight we sleep in a tradtional "pazo" own by the same family for over 300 years.

Day 5 We walk through eucalyptus forests as we ascend the Monte de Gozo where from the top of the mountains we finally see Santiago de Compostella.

Day 6
We continue to follow the familiar yellow arrows that have marked the way for us along the Camino.  We enter the city and follow the pilgrims to the incomparable Cathedral and continue to the Archbiships office to receive our well deserved Compostella.

Day 7 The day is yours to wander the cobbled stone streets of this city.  Visit the museum of the Cathedral and be sure to stop into any of the many jewelers who craft the "azabache" stone into things of beauty.  Tonight we gather one last time at our farewell dinner.

Day 8 Departures.
