A hike through the Spanish Pyrenees from Navarra-Aragón.
Rugged coastlines which contrast Spain's gloriuos Pyrenees Mountains.  Along they way you'll see Romanesque churches and medieval villages.   Follow sunny trials in volcanic parks forested with chestnut and lime trees.

Day 1 The crew will meet you in Pamplona and transport you to your hotel Orbacieta.This evening is your welcome dinner and orientation gathering at the hotel in this charming little town at the foot of the Pyrenees. 

Day 2 Route:  La Selva de IratiThe route crosses the forest of Irati, which boasts 17,000 hectares, is the oldest natural of the  parks and one of the  largest in all of Spain.  We’ll stay along side the damn of Irabia until we reach the town. Distance today:  16 kms      Level:  Medium    

Day 3 
Route:  Ochagavia-IsabaAn ascending road takes us to the mountain pass of Kakueta.  We begin our descent on a zig-zag path until we arrive at the sanctuary of Idoia and the town of Isaba.Distance today:  23 kms   Level:  Medium-Advanced   
 
Day 4 Route:  Isaba-ZurizaWe hike along the gully of Belabarze, climbing the Sierra of Arrigorrieta through a forest of beech trees.  We proceed along the hills of the Sierras in the direction of the great block of mountains call the Paña Ezcaurre which is about 2047 meters.  The decent is along the edges of Arau into the valley of Zuriza.Distance today:  16 kms   Level:  Medium to Advanced   Lodging tonight:  Camping   

Day 5 Route:  Zuriza-OzaWe start out today along a trail which allows us the most beautiful views of the Sierra de Alana on our right.  Will climb to the mountain pass of Petraficha and we’ll descend on a steep incline until we reach the valley of Oza, which is crossed by the river Aragón Subordán.  Distance today: 16 kms   Level:  Medium-Advanced    

Day 6 Route:  Hecho-refugio de LizaraWe Start our route today via a wide path which runs along the Aragón Subordán river.  We’ll climb to the refuge called Gabardito, and from there we begin our journey along a narrow path that climbs to the mountain pass of Foratón at 2032m.  We’ll pass along the highest peak of the zone, the Bisaurin, which towers at 2670 m. and we’ll descend by way of the neck of Fortón to the refuge of Lizara.  Distance today:  20 kms.  Level: Medium to advanced  Lodging:  Camping Day 7 Route:  Liara-CancfrancAlong the dividers of Aragues and Aisa, we’ll pass along the collar of the Bozo, a 2019m and we’ll continue the road which fools you as you first descend and then suddenly begin to climb until you reach the pass of Riguelo and then begin to descend until you finally reach Canfrac.  Tansfer to Jaca Distance today: 15kms  Level:  Medium to High     

Day 8
Transfer back to Pamplona.
