Day 1 Barranco del Ruiz, San Juan de la Rambla We will descend the Barranco del Ruiz by a forest path which runs deep inside the beautiful centenary forest filled with laurisilva, chestnuts and str awberry shrubs. Following this path we will see the immense ravine walls, sculpted byApproximte duration: 3 hours Level:Easy
Day 2 Los Organos We start the walk in an old volcanic hollow.Following a circular route the natural park "Parque Natural de la Corona Forestal" and follow the wooden slopes beneath Mount Teide. Along the way we ascend to Los Organos, a natural series of rock formations that resemble huge pipes. The dappled pine forest path with abundant eucalyptus glades lead to impressive vistas of the lush valley sweeping to the coast below whilst the sleeping giant of Mount Tiede looms benignly above. Approximate duration: 4.5 hours Level: Low

Day 3 Monte Verde, Maciizo Teno Starting from Lagunas de Erjos, going into the lush and dense laurisilva forest Monte Verde one of the oldest forests in the Macaronesian region. From the little hamlet of Cuevas Negras we will see the most outstanding views to the village of Los Silos as well as the northern coast of Tenerife. Approximate duration: 3 hours Level: Easy
Day 4 Paisaje Lunar The so called Luncar landscape is one of the most spectacular places on the island. It is situated high within the Corona Forestal natural park, which circles the Teide National Park and is a perfect example of the effects of erosion on volcanic landscapes that give rise o the strangest formations. Lunar Landscape is an area of pumice and tough sediments that the occasional water torrent washes down the slopes into the valley. This process has carved ut a smalll canyon at an elevation between 600 meters and 2000 meters. At both "mouths" of this canyon bizarre erosion structures are proof of this natural phenomenon. Day 5 Spa Day We take a break from hiking today and we can't think of a lovelier setting than the Spa. Enjoy the outdoor pool in its' specatacular setting or endulge in one of the many treatments this wonderful spa has to offer. This evening we meet for a wine tasting session as no trip to this island is complete without sampling the fine wines it offers us.
Day 6 Roques de Garcia (El Teide) The route starts in Llano de Ucanca and we travel towards Roques de Garcia andthe rocky monuments of "The Island" and "The Catheral". We work our way to the Parador Nacional a luxury hotel located in the National Park. The route is very easy and reveals for us a flora and fauna unique in the world. Approximate duration: 1 hour Level: Easy
Day 7 El Teide Mount Teide is the highest summit in Spain at an altitude of 3,718 meters. This dormant volcano is situated in the national park in the center of the island of Tenerife. The national park contains a wide variety of cones and domes, lava flows and caves that form a spectacular range of colors and forms. Teide National Park was declared a World Heritage Site in the summer of 2007. We gather tonight for ourfarewell dinner in the elegant dinning hall of the Parador. But befroe we say our final goodnight, join us on the patio with our Astronomer for a star gazing session under the spectacular star filled Tenerife sky.
